We have a under the counter RO water purifier. Even though it smarted switches to non-RO mode when not required, the quantity of water being wasted in RO mode was still huge. It felt irresponsible letting all that water to go to waste, so I looked for a solution. We found the solution in the form of this tank that you can install over the sink. The water exiting out of the purifier can be stored in this tank and later used for washing utensils or watering plants. The tank has tap. The waste water from the purifier is under some pressure so the outlet pipe can be bought back over the counter and inserted into this tank. Once the tank is full the extra water overflows via another pipe that can be routed back into the kitchen sink. But we ran into a problem. We had install this tank in March 2023 and 6-7 months later it developed cracks.
